We ate at Yak and Yeti on Christmas eve the first year it opened and have gone back every year since. My husband and I sit at the bar and have a drink and eat appetizers while the kids ride everest and then we have dinner there together. We love the atmosphere, the bartender is always fun to talk with , the service and food are very good. We always have fun and it has become one of our disney traditions.

We ate there for the first time this past June. I found the food choices limited for me. I am a chicken eater, and they didn’t have a lot of that. the restaurant had children running all over the place. Our server was overwhelmed, so we hardly saw him. We had to beg to get our check. our food was dry. my husband loved the potstickers. when we received our food there was a lot to it. sadly we won’t be eating here again. we had reservations, and they were seating people that didn’t have reservations before us. we stood there for over a half an hour before getting seated. people were walking up saying we don’t have a reservation but can we still eat here? there were only 2 of us, and they were parties of 2=4. it didn’t matter we were seated at a table for 4. and we found the hostess to be rude. when i asked why every one was getting seated before us, she loudly told me to go back and stand outside and wait my turn. we should of left then, but I was hungry. lol

We’ve eaten here three times and have always enjoyed the food and decor. The portions are plentiful, beautifully presented, and everything we’ve tried has been delicious. Be sure to try the wonton dessert…it’s definitely worth a visit to Yak & Yeti.

On our last trip in June, our youngest daughter, who will not ride Expidition Everest, was getting cranky and hungry while waiting for the rest of our family to ride. We ducked into Yak and Yeti without reservations, hoping to get out of the heat and were seated immediately. The others met us there and we decided to just do appetizers. The waitress was super friendly and even brought my daughter extra applesauce when she had finished hers. The food was delicious and we got full on appetizers alone! We enjoyed it so much that we have already made reservations for lunch there for our trip in October!

Had lunch Sept. 2010, on the Deluxe Disney Dining Plan. Fantastic food, more that enough for a big eater. Great service.

We got a walk in reservation at 11:30 for 8 people. Our server was not the most friendly man but we got everything we needed but just felt a bit rushed. The food was delicious and priced pretty well. The only other complaint I had was that they don’t participate in Tables in Wonderland because they are not owned by Disney. Overall it was a good experience and we would eat there again.

Although we didn’t have reservations, we were able to get seated within 20 min for lunch. The decor and service was great. I had the Mandarin Chicken Salad and my son got the vegetable lo mein. The food was very good. We would definitely go back.

We love dining at Disney, but this was a bit underwhelming. Felt like any other Chinese restaurant you might visit at home. The service was slow and options for kids were slim.

We enjoyed our late lunch here last year, so much so we will be returning! In our party of 5 two had the ribs which were deemed “the best of the trip” (and these guys know there ribs) also at the table were the Steak & Shrimp dish and the Honey Chicken both also very good! There was a child’s meal and the egg roll appetizer as well again both getting a thumb’s up. Dessert’s were winners too from cheesecake to the fried wontons all big hits!
The atmosphere was great and our server was one of the best of the trip, we can’t wait to go beck!

Ate lunch here in July 2011. The decor is great and its always busy. Had the Beef & Broccoli, and Sweet & Sour Chicken. S&S Chicken was the better meal. The sauce for the beef was rather salty, and server was quite busy so not a lot of refills. I was looking for the water pitcher myself. Would have liked more rice with the entree. Been here previously and the Honey Chicken was delicious as was the Wonton Soup. If the Fried Wonton dessert was dusted with cinnamon sugar it would be “perfect.” Just not sweet enough for a dessert. Overall its a good place to escape from the heat of the park, or sit for a while. I will go back.

We had a great dinner here on an Extra Magic Hour evening. The food was great. There were four adults, two teens and two kids and everyone really enjoyed their meal. The decor in the restaurant was awesome.

This was one of the best restaurants we encountered at Disney. The food was fresh, delicious, and the presentation was great! Our waiter as well as the manager made this a very enjoyable experience.
