This is such a special place to eat, there is no way to compare it to any other restaurant at Disney. From the time you are greeted by name at the door (and if you’ve eaten there before they will welcome you back) until you leave 2-3 hours later, you are treated like royalty. It is small and intimate, very quiet, with a harpist as the only music. It’s perfect for a romantic dinner or for a special occasion. The food is fabulous and you will try things that you never thought you’d eat! While there is a set menu for each course, there are choices and various upgrades, including a wine pairing. It is definitely a splurge, but if your the type that likes to dress up and have a very unique dining experience there is no place better.

We feel so grown up when we eat here. This is not just a restaurant but a complete experience. The food and service are impeccable. The menu changes based on the available ingredients. This is a splurge but if you only do it occassionally it is well worth getting dressed up and going to spend an evening with your spouse, friends or family. It truly is an amazing experience.

Okay for Children: Many have commented that they have well-behaved children. I, too, had a son whom I could take anywhere; nonetheless, this is NOT a place for children, however unpopular that notion may be

Okay for Couples: Yes; (a perfect opportunity to wear those evening clothes)

Be Sure to Try: Something you may not have had before. Everything is so incredibly well-prepared. The smoked buffalo tenderloin stands out in my mind and this was a COLD APPETIZER; simply astonishing.

General tips: A chef’s table is available in the kitchen which can be reserved six months out. I would love to do this, but was glad to experience this place in the main restaurant first.

MouseForLess tips: Sadly, there’s no way to walk out of this place in a dollarless fashion.

Extra Comments: I used 5 as a rating for this restaurant, but I honestly can’t compare it with the others at WDW; it’s in an entirely different league. In talking about it later, we realized that the meal was actually a far better value than, for instance, the $80 lunch at Sci-Fi. The quality of the food and the time and effort spent on preparation, presentation, and service of this seven-course, three-hour meal is phenomenal. We actually wondered how they could do it for $12 to $14 per course. It was the best dining experience I have had. I am considering taking a second job so that I can do it again!
