Visited Anaheim House of Blues on a 9/22/2011 for lunch. Restaurant was half full but hostess refused to seat us as she said that the kitchen was backed up. This seemed to be a bad business decision as I would have gladly had a beer or two as I waited for my meal. I have been to many House of Blues locations over the years and truely enjoyed the menu. However they have recently changed the entire menu and have left off the old favorites. The new food is good but I was disappointed that I was not able to get items from the old menu. The waiter was very honest and helpful and said that he too was not thrilled with the new choices and that he too prefered the old menu. Once seated the service was great. I am not sure if I would go back on my next visit to Anaheim.
