What: We ate dinner here. I had the australian lobster tail, chef’s potato stack gratin and the wedge salad. my mother had the spinach salad, filet mignon and the garlic smashed potatoes.

Price of Entrees: Two people, approx. $50.00 a person

Okay for Children: yes, well behaved children. This is a very nice place, quiet atmosphere.
Okay for Couples: Yes, Yes, Yes.

Be Sure to Try: the lobster tail was the best I have ever had. My mom is planning on having it on our next trip.

General tips: Must make reservations, it is well worth any wait. Bring lots of money. Cocktails very pricey.

TheMouseForLess tips: You order each item seperately. if you order the lobster it is huge. All you need is a salad or a side, not both. They have several different water options. If you do not want to pay for special water be specific. Water is expensive here.

Extra Comments: make reservations for early evening no wait and give yourself time to burn it off.

What: We ordered the shrimp cocktail appetizer, I ordered the 7 oz. filet mignon with the broccoli crown for a side; and my Mom ordered the Atlantic Salmon with the green beans with bacon for a side. We didn’t order dessert: They brought her a chocolate mousse (free of charge) since we were celebrating her birthday – and it was fabulous!

There were some children there, but I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s really a high-end restaurant for adults. Children will be much more comfortable somewhere else.

Be Sure to Try: I loved the French toast.

General tips: Everything we ordered was phenomenal – my steak was cooked perfectly, too!

TheMouseForLess tips: Our priority seating was for 5:30, and it was nice because the restaurant was practically empty. By the time we were finished and left it was starting to fill up.

Extra Comments: If you like fine dining, don’t miss this restaurant!

When: November 2008, May 2009 (twice), June 2009, September 2009

What: Breakfasts and one dinner. Two times four and other breakfast menu items plus various dinner items, including steak

Price of Entrees: $12.00 breakfast, $30.00 dinner per person

I have seen well-behaved young children dining there with their families, but in general, I think most children would be bored. It’s a friendly, but quiet atmosphere. My husband and I love this place as do my older teen and young adult daughters.

Be Sure to Try: Everything is excellent! The two times four breakfast is an absolute favorite. The various dinners we had were some of the best we’ve ever eaten. Even my husband was impressed and he’s particular about a good steak.

General tips: Always make reservations just to be on the safe side. Breakfasts are an exceptional value and it doesn’t appear anyone has caught on to that yet. Goofy’s Kitchen, right next door is always mobbed (with good reason) so it’s nice to have an alternative.

TheMouseForLess tips: The dinners might seem pricey, but the food is comparable to what you would get in a five-star restaurant, with only a fraction of the price. The breakfasts are plentiful and an incredible value.

Extra Comments: We dressed a bit nicer (not dressed up) for dinner and dressed casually for the breakfasts.
