Okay for Children: It’s fine for children. Many of the tables are outside so it’s not too formal a setting.

Be Sure to Try: We enjoyed both the fish & chips and the bangers & mash. I always enjoy a place that provides malt vinegar for fries (chips)! Try the vinegar instead of ketchup.

General Tips: If it’s a very hot day, you might want to request an indoor table for lunch so you can sit in the a/c. If the weather is nice, enjoy the outdoor seating.

TheMouseForLess tips: Nothing on the adult menu was too appealing to dd (11) and they were fine with having her order off of the kid’s menu.

Extra Comment: Both the service and check-in procedure were a little slow, but we all enjoyed the food and sitting outside near the water makes for a nice lunch setting.

Be Sure to Try: Bailey’s Irish Creme Trifle, Apple Crumble, Lamb 2 ways, the kids recommend the fish but not the chips.

TheMouseForLess tips: This was one of the most reasonable amounts of food we ate all week. No left overs.

Okay for Children: Yes – We took our grandchildren ages 6 & 7 at Christmastime to eat here

Be Sure to Try: John says their Black & Tans are great

General tips: Make your ADRs as soon as you can as this is a popular spot to watch the Illuminations. Request a seat on the patio for dinner around 7:30 pm

TheMouseForLess tips: We used our DDE card and received a 20% discount on everything including the drinks.

Extra Comments: We like to arrive a little early for dinner and have a drink in the pub.

Be Sure to Try: Sticky toffee pudding

General tips: There was a sign or a note somewhere saying you can’t request particular tables, and that you need to be done your meal in 2 hours or less. I guess they don’t want people lingering so they can see IllumiNations. Also, if you have to wait for your ADR, you can get a drink at the stand outside the pub, and bring it to your table with you when you are called.

TheMouseForLess tips: Disney Dining Experience card Ð saved 20% ($32.86)

Extra Comments: We totally lucked out on this one. I called in the morning to see what they had open, and we got a 7:20 p.m. ADR. I knew we couldn’t request any particular seating, but I was so happy when they led us to a lakeside table on the terrace. The timing was perfect, and we got to watch IllumiNations while eating sticky toffee pudding and drinking coffee. It really was wonderful.
We really enjoyed our whole experience at this restaurant.
Note for vegetarians; there really wasn’t much on the menu, but they did offer a vegetarian version of the cottage pie that wasn’t on the menu. DD11 really liked it.

Okay for Children: Yes, childrens favorites such as pizza and fish and chips are offered

Okay for Couples: Yes, its a fun place to have lunch or dinner and have a few beers or better yet to watch Illuminations

Be Sure to Try: The Guinness Stew was quite tasty and was served piping hot. On another visit we tried the Fish and Chips platter and it was also excellent.

General tips: Sitting on the patio was great, the roof is covered in case of rain, but if it is humid outside it can take away from the dining experience.

TheMouseForLess tips: The prices are a bit high and portion size could be a bit bigger. If you want to have dinner and then watch Illuminations outside on the patio make the latest ADR available, this is an excellent place to watch the fireworks.

Extra Comments: We ate on the patio and it seemed as if they were understaffed. It took a long time to get our beers both times and our server only came back once to check on us. Perhaps this was just a fluke.

Service: While our waitstaff was friendly, the service seemed awfully slow to me and caused our guys to be late for the beer tasting outside while they waited and waited to pay the bill. And if you are late, you don’t get in :(

TheMouseForLess tips: the salad definately could feed 2 people, it was huge!

Extra Comments: If you are visiting during the Food and Wine fest inquire about the beer tastings outside
