Reviews of Disneyland River Belle Terrace
Experience down-home Southern hospitality while enjoying a hearty meal amidst the graceful elegance of ornate wrought iron rails and shade-bearing umbrellas. Once the cherished Sunday morning breakfast locale of Walt Disney himself, this stately restaurant remains a sentimental favorite for classic breakfast fare, as well as hearty and healthful specialties for lunch and dinner.

  1. Review -River Belle Terrace, Disneyland Park
    Who: Valcarce Family

Where: Adventureland (there is also an entrance from Frontierland)
    When: September 26, 2015

    What: Breakfast
Items ordered: Build Your Own Yogurt Parfait, Cinnamon Roll French Toast with Bacon, Mark Twain (scrambled eggs) with Bacon
    Cost: $26.97

    Rate the following: 4
Food: 4 – Everyone enjoyed their breakfast. I was disappointed, though, that there was no fresh fruit for the parfait
Service: 4 – this was at 11:00am – we thought we’d beat the lunch crowd but instead got stuck in the breakfast crowd! But the CMs kept things moving along.

    Atmosphere: 4
Okay for Children: Casual place – outdoor seating overlooking the Rivers of America or indoor seating with blasting air conditioning!
Okay for Couples: Not very romantic but the outdoor tables provide for great people watching. Walt used to eat breakfast here most Sunday mornings, so the nostalgia factor is high.

Be Sure to Try: The Cinnamon Roll French Toast was ridiculously good, and really more of a dessert than a breakfast.

Our favorite cheaper Disneyland restaurant. We ate here at least 4 times in 4 days. Best value for breakfast and kids meals. Great freshly carved sandwiches and good salads. Mickymouse pancakes, and the full breakfast, plus decent coffee!

What: lunch – We ordered 2 Barbecue pork sandwiches which came with a small pasta salad, 2 slices of Celebration Cake, a bottle of Simply LimeAid, a bottle of water, a bottle of milk, a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich Kids Meal, a New York Roast Beef Sandwich which came with a small fruit salad, a strawberry shortcake parfait, a bottle of Simply Orange Juice, and a turkey sandwich which came with a small fruit salad.

it’s themed to Frontierland but our window looked out into Adventureland, which was kind of jarring.
Okay for Couples: Yes, not in romantic sense, but it’s fine.

Be Sure to Try: The condiments bar! Pickled zucchini relish, carmelized onions and mushrooms, and cranberry relish, just to name my favorites.

General tips: We ordered 2 slices of cake by accident. One would have been plenty for 3 of us to share!

Extra Comments: We went around 12PM. Sent two members of our party to snag a table while the rest of us got our food.

Dont miss – Did I mention the condiments bar? The honey mustard sauce was delicious, an they also had a horseradish aioli which I didn’t get to try.

What: Breakfast – 2 Mark Twains

Approximate Price of Entrees: $15 for a family of 2

During breakfast it is very quiet and relaxing.

Be Sure to Try: Mark Twain. Mickey Mouse Pancakes.

General tips: No reservations are needed, it is a cafeteria style restaurant.

Extra Comments: Overall its a great choice for breakfast, its location is good.

What: Dinner; 2 Turkey Dinners, 4 extra roll

Approximate Price of Entrees: $12.99 per Turkey Dinner and $.79 for 2 extra rolls

Be Sure to Try: Turkey Dinner was excellent; clam chowder in a bread bowl with salad is always good; the salmon is good too; at lunch you can get a half turkey sandwich and cup of soup

General tips: Counter service has two lines. Check both lines because I got in one line that was half as long as the other line

Dollarless tips: There were two adults and two children. We ordered two Turkey Dinners and 4 extra rolls and shared. It was just enough food so that everyone was full but not stuffed. No AP discount at this one, I asked!

Extra Comments: If you sit outside at night you should be able to see Fantasmic. I love this place. The Turkey Dinner is not normally on the menu, it is on the menu for the Holidays. There was a generous portion of turkey, very tasty stuffing (I am picky about stuffing but I liked this a lot), mashed potatoes, vegies, cranberry sauce and a sourdough roll. There is not a lot of seating inside but there are tables outside as well.

    What: breakfast (counter service

Approximate Price of Entrees: $8 (Mickey Mouse pancakes and large O.J.)

(plenty of seating both inside and out and a view of Rivers of America/New Orleans Square)

Be Sure to Try: Mickey Mouse pancakes

General tips: I’ve heard that this is a good place to catch dinner and a good view of Fantasmic! in the evenings during the summer.

    Dollarless tips:
