Best Mai Tai i’ve ever had!! This new signature drink on your bar menu had me thinking about it for the rest of the night, the food is always outstanding but this last visit the cocktail took the prize! cheers!

I have dined @ Napa Rose many times, some for birthdays, anniversary, and especially to start off my honeymoon. I have dined at the Chef’s table 2 times, once letting them do all the thinking and choosing for us and the other where we did. It doesn’t matter if you do the four course menu or pick on your own, it is fabulous. Each season is new and exciting and the entire experience is always great. Unlike a lot of fine dining establishments if a couple are not big eaters and can agree, it is easy to share an app, salad, soup, and entree and be full. Or go all out and do the menu with wine pairing which makes any celebrations extraordinary.
My husband and I dine out, a lot. To very great establishments, 4 and 5 stars often, and Napa Rose never disappoints. If you enjoy great food this is worth the money.

My husband took me for my birthday and it was absolutely fantastic! We sat at the Chef’s table and had no idea what was coming to the table next… It was awesome! Pricey but worth it for the delish food. Definitely going back for my hubby’s b-day!

What: We Had the Four Course Vintner’s Prix Fixe This selection changes with the season. My husband had veal, my self the lamb. Both impecable! The wine parings and four courses, WONDERFUL! Flourless Chocolate Cake and Magicale Champagne ended the evening. This place is a MUST! Pricey, but wonderful. We make it our Anniversary dinner every year!

Approximate Price of Entrees: $85.00 per person. Party of two

    A MUST for couples.

Be Sure to Try: Magicale Champagne.

General Tip: Make sure you have a reservation, at least a week in advance. Walk ins accepted too, but it can get busy.

TheMouseForLess Tip: Appetizers and wine in their lounge…Wonderful economic date night.

    Extra Comment: Everything’s wonderful there!

What: Went for my wife’s birthday. I had the scallops, mushroom bisque and white sea bass. She had the deep fried veggie, summer salad and filet mignon.

    Approximate Price of Entrees: $170

Be Sure to Try: It’s all good.

General Tip: Free valet parking is a nice touch.

TheMouseForLess Tip: Good food but way overpriced. Thank god the bread was free. The portions are small (two scallops for $17.) Go if you crave snob appeal.

Extra Comment: Even though my wife wore a Disney “birthday button” we did NOT get a free dessert. This after I made sure to mention it when I made my reservation too. Never again.

What: Shared four appetizers with wine

Approximate Price of Entrees: $33 per person

I saw parents with their children in the dining area so I’m assuming there’s a child’s menu. I personally feel this is more for adult tastes.

Be Sure to Try: My two adult daughters and I shared the stuffed zucchini blossoms, the fantastic cheese assortment (with lightly toasted french bread), the pizzette (margarita) and the heirloom tomatoe salads. All of these were delicious.

General Tip: We sat in the lounge area which is huge and beautifully decorated. Large, comfortable chairs.

TheMouseForLess Tip: This is an expensive restaurant so by sharing several plates we were able to keep the cost down.

Extra Comment: The service was excellent and they worked hard to accommodate my daughters who are vegetarian. Some of the items had meat which they omitted very easily. There are alot of restaurants who have a very hard time with this concept!

    What: Dinner:

    Approximate Price of Entrees: $30

Okay for Children: Yes, quiet, well-behaved children. Not toddlers or babies

Okay for Couples: Yes, perfect for couples of any age

Be Sure to Try: Sizzling Beach Rock appetizer and portobello mushroom bisque “cappuccino” soup.

General Tip: Allow enough time to relax and enjoy the evening. The cocktail lounge area is comfortable and quiet so leave time to sit and enjoy it. Make reservations!

TheMouseForLess Tip: I can’t think of any way to make this experience less expensive. Save up for it and enjoy! It is worth it.

Extra Comment: I recommend the “Vintner’s Table” Four course vintner’s prix fixe meal plus flight of 4 wines for a total of $120 each. Pricey but lots of food, great wine pairings and GREAT service. Without the wine it is only $75 each. Go for it!

    What: Dinner:
Scallop Appetizer, Salmon Dinner Entree, Halibut Dinner Entree, Potato/Leek Side, then Creme Brulee Dessert and Chocolate Pate Dessert

Approximate Price of Entrees: $35 per person

Okay for Children: Yes – Anything Disneyland works with kids, but note that it is a very nice restaurant and you need to know your child and their ability to “sit” for a longer dinner. We will be going again next week while my husband’s mom is in town and we’ll take our 3-year old

    Okay for Couples: Absolutely

Be Sure to Try: Scallops with Lobster Reduction Sauce appetizer!

General Tip: Requesting a table with a view would be recommended for making the evening special. Also, being able to watch the monorail whiz by can be especialy exciting for kids.

TheMouseForLess Tip: Unfortunately having an Annual Pass does not allow discounts, but dinning there for a special occasion will allow you a complimenary dessert and bringing your own wine is helpful in easing the $ 50-300 per bottle price, at a corkage fee of only $ 17. (That’s a very low fee for a restaurant with entrees at an average of $35.)

What: We sat at the Chef’s Table and had him “cook for us”. We can’t even begin to explain what we had but it was so amazing.

Approximate Price of Entrees: $200 per couple without alcohol

They have a kid’s menu but we suggest that the kids are older and not too young.

Okay for Couples: YES YES YES!

Be Sure to Try: ** everything ** HA!

Extra Comments: If you can get a reservation at the Chef’s Table go for it! You can order off the menu or you can tell the waiter to have the chef “cook whatever he wants”. Our waiter asked us a few questions about our likes, dislikes, allergies… Once that was over, the head chef and sous chefs came over, introduced themselves, and proceeded to cook the most amazing meal we’ve had in a long time.

Approximate Price of Entrees: dont remember

Okay for Children: Yes, it’s a bit more of a formal place, but kids are perfectly welcome

    Okay for Couples: Yes

Be Sure to Try: the excellent wines

TheMouseForLess Tip: Portions are huge – so can easily be shared.

Extra Comments: On certain evenings, Napa Rose offers live Jazz, they have an extensive wine list, and also offer a “Tasting” Menu
