Okay for Children: Yes – they might even enjoy the belly dancer

Okay for Couples: Yes, the setting is remarkable, although it’s very loud.

Be Sure ToTry: My sister got the appetizer sampler platter and raved about the beef and chicken bastilla.

General tips: We sat on the second tier, hoping to get a good view of the dancer, and this big decorative hookah looking thing was right in front of me.

TheMouseForLess Tip: Unfortunately, some of the tastiest food is NOT available through the dining plan. There are two sampler meals that are great because you can try a little of everything, but you have to pay out of pocket for them. Extra Comments: The food is good here, but the decor is the real star. The tile work is stunning.

Food: – the beef could have been a little more beefy…lots of fat

Service: – answered all my questions even beyond questions about the food

Atmosphere: – with the live music and the bellydancer made it a very good place

General tips: Music is played for 15 minutes or so with about 15 minutes off. Bellydancer comes out for about 10 minutes every hour or so.

Extra Comments: Dont be scared to try this resturant. You might think it looks or sounds spicy but it is not. I am very picky with it comes to this type of food and have never had a bad meal. I have had the kebabs and those were also good.

Okay for Children: Yes, its a fun atmosphere and there are traditional children dishes such as meatballs or chicken tenders.

Okay for Couples: This is a fun place for a couple.

Be Sure to Try: The Taste of Morocco Marrakesh Feast was great as it was almost like a personal mini buffet. I was able to taste several dishes that I had never tasted before and had no clue what they were (before I asked the server)

General tips: if you tell the host or server that there is a birthday at your table the belly dancer will come up to that person and dance… its quite funny so bring a camera.

TheMouseForLess tips: The prices are a bit expensive but they are really good and the portion size is quite big. Remember, drinks here are not included in the price of your meal.

Extra Comments: We did not order the combination appetizer for two but the table next to us did and it looked really good and was a good portion size. We did not see as many children at this restaurant which makes it a bit more cozy and romantic for couples. However, the children that were in the restaurant enjoyed the music and the dancer.

Service: –Waiter was new, but extremely nice, which compensated for the slow service.

Okay for Children: Yes–separate children’s menu with familiar foods, and the small children in our family enjoyed the music and belly dancing.

Okay for Couples: Yes–not especially quiet, but a nice setting for a romantic meal

Be Sure to Try: Appetizer Sampler–good way to try out several of the dishes featured on the menu and Marrakesh Delight–good especially on a hot day; very light, cool, and refreshing

General tips: Try and request table near floor, where the belly dancing takes place. We had reservations for noon, right when the restaurant opened, but the entertainment did not begin until around 1pm. You may want to time your reservation so you do not finish your meal before the entertainment begins.

TheMouseForLess tips: The Berber Feast includes the jasmina salad, roast lamb meshoui, chicken kabob and seasonal fruit salad for $23.95. You are receiving your whole meal for one price. The Sultan Sampler, for $19.95, can certainly be split with two people. It includes a grilled brochette of either beef or chicken, a Beef Brewat Roll and Chicken Bastilla served with vegetable couscous

Extra Comments: When we arrived, our waiter brought ice water for the whole table, and then left us to cool off for a few minutes. He then came back and took drink orders, and left again, and then came back to take our meal order. By the time he took our meal order, tables that had been seated at the same time as we had been, were already eating their entrees. He was very nice and interacted well with the children. He made sure all of our needs were attended to. He gave Eilis a complimentary dish of ice cream and cookies, and did not charge us for the apple juice for the baby. However, it was paced a little slower than we would have liked, and the meal took us an hour-and-a-half, which is quite a bit of time out of the theme park day, especially with small children. The wait staff and the hostess were extremely child-friendly. The hostess introduced herself to Grace by scooping her up from behind, which was a little frightening to our stranger-shy thirteen-month-old. Pretty much everyone, wait staff and hostess, were pretty kissy and cuddly with the kids. It was very endearing to see this aspect of the Morroccan culture, but for some families, it could be considered a little too familiar. We have always enjoyed our meal here, but we almost always overlook this restaurant when making our ADRs. The food is always different and unique, the show is enjoyable, the service is friendly, and it is a nice break to the theme park day.

Okay for Children: Yes. They have the typical children’s menu items. They will also enjoy the dancing.

Okay for Couples: Yes, if you are an adventurous.

Be Sure to Try: Beef Brewat. I was surprised that I liked it more than the Chicken Bastilla. DH couldn’t stop talking about the Moroccan pastries. I did not like the leg of lamb, but if you are someone who enjoys lamb, it was tender and mildly spiced.

General tips: This will be a “must go back” place for us. ADR’s probably are not necessary.

TheMouseForLess tips: I can’t say enough about the Dining Plan. We are a family that prefers sitting to eat, rather then eating on the run. The Dining Plan is the only way to go in this case!

Extra Comments: My daughter nearly fell out of her chair when Aladdin showed up! We all enjoyed the music and belly dancer.
