Food: The food here was really enjoyable. The complementary crab dip is a do not miss in my opinion.

Service: Overall service was great here, but there were a few slips including missing the lemon butter sauce on my mom’s plate. This probably wouldn’t have been noticed except we had ordered the same thing.

Okay for Children: Yes, if the child is used to eating in a quieter restaurant.

Okay for Couples: Yes, Definitely. This is a higher end restaurant that is great for an adult only dinner.

Be Sure To Try: The crab dip that is brought out before your entree. They also give everyone the recipe for this at your table.

TheMouseForLess tips: Fulton’s does not accept the Disney Dining Plan so keep in mind that this would be an out of pocket meal. Depending on your appetite or how many courses you want, you could probably split an entree here. We didn’t and left very full with just the entree and bread

Extra Comments: We were able to walk in as a party of two, but larger parties had a longer wait. ADR’s are available here.

Okay for Children: Probably not but it would depend on the child.

Okay for Couples: Yes most definitely.

Be Sure To Try: Can only speak about what we had which was very good. So we would that anything that you ordered would be good.

TheMouseForLess tips: The portions were just right for us,do not know about any discounts, we sat on the lake side of restaurant and a nice view of the lake and the water taxis coming and going. We also made reservations for 5:00P.M. so it was quite empty and had pretty much our choice of seats. Also if you are going for a anniversary as we did make sure that wherever you go to let your servers know as we got several deserts onthe house at different places that we ate at.

Extra Comments: The Dark Chocolate Cake that we had for desert was wonderfull. Also there really is no dress code but you can dress up if you like.

Okay for Children: Our kids were 6 and 8 and it was great. They loved watching the boats on the water.

Okay for Couples: Yes – we love it.

Be Sure To Try: Scratch Bloody Mary

General tips: Sit in the bar area right after lunch for a snack.

TheMouseForLess tips: Not sure about discounts.

Extra Comments: If you’re on a budget just go there for a snack. It’s not crowded after lunch and a very relaxing atmosphere.

Okay for Children: No, too formal

Okay for Couples: Yes, for a special meal but can think of better places.

General tips: I honestly don’t feel this is an acceptable eating establishment to represent Disney

TheMouseForLess tips: My advice is to eat somewhere else more relaxed and less crowded especially if you have children with your party.

Extra Comments: Too crowded, too formal, a bit too uppity for my taste. However some may like that type of atmosphere.

Okay for Children: My kids enjoyed it, and the waitstaff was extremely attentive to them. I could see if they were busy that this might be too long of a meal for kids to sit through.

Okay for Couples: This could absolutely be a romantic meal
Be Sure to Try: the Opah was VERY good.

General tips: We made a fairly early ADR, and it worked out great. There were very few tables filled when we arrived, so we were seated and served immediately. We left shortly after 6, and it was becoming quite crowded.

TheMouseForLess tips: WHATEVER you can do to save money here, do it. Some of the prices are really outrageous. You might want to order a couple of appetizers and share an entree. A lot of the sides are a la carte, so if you want to skip an appetizer, but add a potato, maybe you can share that. I also try to avoid the children’s menu for Eilis lately so she isn’t limited to fried or greasy food. She wanted the snow crab (which she loves at home), so I ordered it, and the waitress told me since it was for a child, they could split the portion AND the price – so she got half the amount of snow crab for half of the price. Note – she was still hungry afterwards, as half the portion was 1/2 of a whole crab, and she can easily eat a whole crab herself.

Extra Comments: My aunt and uncle owned a seafood restaurant for YEARS on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, and we are huge seafood eaters at our house. If I walked into a restaurant at home or in the Outer Banks and was charged $30 for a crabcake platter, I would expect it to come with a salad, a vegetable, and a potato or rice or another side. If I was paying $30 for snow crab, I would expect at least two clusters with salad and sides. I thought my crabcakes were “okay” – definitely NOT worth the amount of money I spent for them and little else. Brighid’s fish was delicious, but for what it cost, I could have sent her deep sea diving for a day to catch it herself, then flown her to Hawaii to pick a fresh pineapple for the glaze (okay, it wasn’t that much, but for $30, she could have at least gotten a salad). They did give us a commemorative souvenir of the dining experience – the recipe for Fulton’s Crab Boursin. We may never use it, but for what it cost us to eat there, I’m having it bronzed :-)

Be Sure to Try: Spiked lemonade :) and the New England clam chowder; The bread is also very good!

General tips: We sat at the bar because of the long wait, but the outside tables and the tables by the window were very nice. The Cobb salad I had was FILLED with small shrimp, LOTS of crab meat and a lot of small scallops (which I don’t really care for but they were quite tasty). The grilled grouper sandwich was also very very good.

MouseForLess tips: It would have been reasonable if we’d skipped the lemonades, but one was just NOT enough! Love that Disney transportation too! ;)

Extra Comments: We stayed at POR and took the boat to and from DTD…what a wonderfully enjoyable excursion for lunch! If the boat isn’t too full, or even it if it is, it can be romantic, plus you get to hear the captain spout off all kinds of trivia as well as point out various information about different points you pass, which I really enjoyed…
