We have stayed there several times and love it! Next year we will be staying there again. I love the theme, the main pool is amazing and they have a really great food court. The rooms are nice and clean. We have never had any issues there.

THIS PLACE IS NOT SAFE!!!…Please be aware that someone stole an IPAD from my room the last night I was staying there!!!!! Now I am dealing with the WDW company all all the red tape.

The bathroom was dirty and there is dust everywhere!

    Don’t stay here!

We were in a Pirate room which had an awesome theme. It was an accessible room, so the bathroom was huge, but there was very little closet space. That wasn’t a big issue for us, though.

    Definitely a cool theme!

Dates of Stay May 15-22 2010

This was our first time staying at Caribbean Beach Resort. We stated in room 3912, the Pirate Room. The decor was really cool. The room was very clean, liked the curtain area for privacy, and loved the fact that there was a small fridge that we could use. It is quite a distance from the food court but we had a car so it was no problem for us. My tip is have someone get the breakfast and bring it back to eat in the room. We seemed to be able to leave for the parks earlier by not all going the food court at the same time.
The pool is awesome. Our family loved the slides.
While drying off a Cast Member walked over to my daughter and asked if she would like to play Jenga with him. Oh my gosh this was not the regular Jenga it was monster sized.
Another place not to be missed is the beach area where they have hammocks to relax on.
The resort also has lovely flowers and shrubs that make it feel like you are in the tropics.

We stayed in 2009 and are returning to the Caribbean Beach in 2010. The resort was clean and just enjoyable. We took our granddaughter and had a wonderful time, we paid for water parks but never left the resort for water activities because my granddaughter enjoyed it so!

    Date Of Stay: 03/07/10-03/09/10

Rate Paid During Your Stay: Booked with Deb Chambers with The Magic for Less, I believe I ended up paying $139/night for a Pirate Themed room.

    Room Sleeps : 4

Don’t Miss: The new pool and kids pool! They have been redone since we stayed there a couple of years ago and it is amazing! It has a zero entry pool which was beyond great for my 6 month old. She loved sitting just waist deep and splashing in the water. There are now 2 slides! Also, we had pizza and it was really good. A Large with pepperoni was around $20 and was fresh and filling. Plus when your pizza is ready, your little beeper says “Yo Man” and it plays Caribbean music. Too Cute!

Room Location Suggestion: We had a Pirate Room so we were limited to the Trinidad building but honestly, it was not too far at all from the Old Port Royale where all of the action is. We were in 3403 which was pretty much facing the water near the bridge. It was a very pleasant walk to the main pool plus there was a quiet pool with a beach and a playground near our section.

The Mouse For Less Tip: The Pirate themed rooms! They were beyond cool and absolutely were the highlight of our trip. My 5 year old son and 7 year old daughter could not stop playing on the beds and between the pirate curtain. The only thing I suggest is bring your swords! We forgot ours and the kids were dissapointed.

Comments: I would not hesitate to stay again here again. I can’t wait for Disney to create more themed rooms at their hotels.

Date Of Stay: Sept 12-20 2009

Rate Paid During Your Stay: We did a MYW package with Free dining total with that and 6 day park hoppers for 2 and 1 kid was about 2 grand.

    Room Sleeps : 4

Don’t Miss: The main pool! It’s awesome!!! DS had the best time on the kiddie play area! Just relaxing on a hammock with dh while ds dug in the sand!

Room Location Suggestion: We were nervous about where we would end up since we had paid for a Pref. room. We had an awesome location! Barbados building 14 room 1438! We were a short walk to Old Port Royale (the food court, shops etc) It was nice!

The Mouse For Less Tip: find out what other stops are closer to your resort! We learned we would get off at Martinique if that was the 1st stop and just walk to our room rather then sit on the bus the whole time!

Comments: We really enjoyed this resort! it was definately worth the upgrade after staying at ASMo the last 2 yrs. There was less madness and chaos while waiting for the buses both at the resort and at the parks. People here seem to get a later start. We never had to wait with many people to get on a bus as long as we went for rope drop. there is so much to do here that you could easily just stay here for a couple days and just hang at the resort! A bit disappointed in the food court here, didn’t seem to have as many options and only stayed open til 11! No late night snacks! But we will stay here again!

Date Of Stay: 19-26 Dec 2008

Rate Paid During Your Stay: Somewhere between 99-139 a night(package was MYW but with free dining).

    Room Sleeps : 4 people

Don’t Miss: The main pool is great! Although I have no toddlers, the kiddie pool looked like an absolute blast!

Room Location Suggestion: We had preferred, which I am convinced is the only way to go at this resort as it is SO spread out. We were in the Martinique section, backside of Building 25, so we could catch either the Martinique bus or the Port Royale bus with no difference in walking distance. We were convenient to drink refills, the main pool and the marina without needing to walk a long distance or take the internal bus.

The Mouse For Less Tip: Get a preferred room. Really. You’ll be glad you did.

Comments: Although the theming is lovely, I will never stay at this resort again. It offers the same amenities as the other moderates, but the busses were too slow, too full, and made too many stops consistently for the entire week of our stay. Instead of giving ourselves an hour to get somewhere, I found that it was safer to plan for 1.25/1.5 hours. I have stayed at POFQ and at ASSp and Pop, and the bus service at those resorts was MUCH quicker and more efficient.

Date Of Stay: October 23rd to 27th, 2008

Rate Paid During Your Stay: $99 per night, Tower of Terror 13k race rate.

    Room Sleeps : 4 people

    Don’t Miss: The new pool!!

Room Location Suggestion: We actually got a room in Jamaica this time and loved it. We had previously stayed in preferred rooms in Trinidad and were very happy with it. For the $99 rate you dont get a preferred room LOL, so Jamaica it was, and we loved it!! It was quiet and the walk to the pool and food court was VERY nice.

The Mouse For Less Tip: Take the chance to play on the beach, its as relaxing as a spa day and they have playgrounds for the kids. Also we got to see fireworks from the resort, not sure where from, but we heard them around 7 and then walked out when we heard them again around 9 and could see them from our porch. It was awesome!!

Get the birthday buttons!!! My dh got them for dd and I because both of us have October birthdays. We got all kinds of birthday surprises, everything from cast members sneaking up on my dd and yelling happy birthday while we were in line, free cookies at a couple different restaurants, a 2nd ride on Toy Story without waiting in line, and lots of special attention from characters. It was awesome!!

We have taken advantage of the concierge service several times for dinner reservations, concert tickets and other things and have always been more surprised how nice and helpful they are.

Comments: If you like the beach and beach theming, this is the place for you!! We love the walking paths, the beaches, hammocks and the atmosphere of the food court is fun, but quiet.
