Such good skewers. I always get the Beef Banyon skewer. So spicy and so good. I usually by at least 2 and that keeps me going until dinner at Blue Bayou. Well worth it

We ordered 1 Bengal Beef, 3 Cheiften Chicken, 2 mickey pretzels, and 2 fruit cups, and 1 order of tiger tails. Our total was 36.32. Everyone loved the food! The skewers are very tasty, but a little small so my husband and I each got 2. The kids had Mickey pretzels and fruit and were very pleased with it! The fruit “cup” was a big plastic box of fresh fruit (cantaloupe, honey dew, grapes, strawberries, orange wedge). If you have small children they could definately split this. The fruit was 3.69 and I thought that was one of the best values in the park because you got so much.

There is limited seating here. We got a table, but it was very cramped and half was in the sun.

A gem of a snack stand. The food is good and not your usual snack stand type fare. I highly recommend to all but the pickeiest of eaters. My 9-year old especially loves the Safari Skewer and I can never make up my mind which one to have.

Tip: If you have a late large or buffet breakfast, a skewer and a Tiger Tail could be enough to hold you over until dinner time.

For me, this is must-do every time I visit the park. The very first time I ate here was w/ my Dad and I was about 6 or 7 years old. 20 years late and it’s still a favorite of mine.

For two people, I typically spend anywhere from $20-25 bucks. I always get two of the spicy BBQ skewers, the mickey pretzel w/ cheese, and a milk (to help w/ the spice taste, it isn’t that bad though). The rest of the cost comes from whatever my fiance orders.

I hands-down 100% recommend this place to anyone who visits the park.

I have to warn you though that seating is extremely limited, on non-busy days during the week it’s nearly impossible to get a a table, I don’t even want to know what it’s like on a busy weekend or holiday. What I do is I get there about 15 minutes before it opens (usually 11am), and I stand in the line while my fiance secures a spot.

It is a pain to get seating but at least to me, the hassle is well worth how good the food is.

Yummy! We tried the two beef skewers and the chicken and they were all very good. It wasn’t very filling though, I’d say this is good for a quick snack.

    What: Dinner

Price of Entrees: $ 3.79 for the skewers $3.79 for the tiger paws (breadsticks) $3.79 for the mickey mouse pretzel

My son loved the chicken skewers and wanted to eat it everyday, plus he loved the pretzel. My daughter loved the breadsticks

Be Sure To Try: the chicken skewers, the tiger paws

General Tip: they close earlier than other food places in the park, eat there early at least before 9pm. For the price of one skewer, it is not filling, I’d order at least 2-4 per adult.

TheMouseForLess Tip: The tiger paws (breadsticks) were enough for little people to split.

Extra Comments: I’d give anything to get the sauce they used on the chicken skewers since my son loved those so much. We order chicken on a stick at Ariel’s Grotto and they were definitely not the same. Bengal BBQ much better.

Note from MFL: For anyone interested in recipes for any food sold in Disneyland, all you have to do is ask for it at the information center in City Hall on Main Street and they will give you the recipe.

What: Snack – cookie, milk, strawberry parfait

Very limited seating available. It was packed, in a busy pedestrian area of the park.

Be Sure To Try: The yogurt parfait had vanilla yogurt, strawberries, blueberries, and bananas with a crunchy granola topping – very refreshing.

General Tip: Really limited seating here – be warned!

Extra Comments: Really chose this place because it was close to where we were when we were hungry.

What: Dinner: person #1: (1)Chieftan Chicken Skewer, (1)Outback Vegetable Skewer person #2: (2)Bengal Beef Skewers, (1)Tiger Tails

    Price of Entrees: $7 – $10

The advantage here with children is you can buy individual items that are a good portion size for little ones. No. It is usually pretty fast service (10 to 15 minutes) but there is usually no place to sit. Good if you just want to grab it, eat standing up and go.

Be Sure To Try: Safari Skewer – Didn’t get it this time, but is usually really delicious

General Tip: We got our food and then headed to The Golden Horseshoe to eat. It is indoors and air conditioned and usually has plenty of tables available if you miss the show times.

TheMouseForLess Tip: They give the Annual Pass discount. Ask for glasses of water instead of a drink to save some money.

Extra Comments: The quality has gone down. The Chicken skewers used to be all white meat and now it is white and dark. The chicken skewer was over cooked and the vegetable skewer was under cooked. Also, it is not the best place if you want a lot of food since each item is individually priced.

What: beef skewers, chicken skewers, vegetable skewers

Be Sure To Try: Chicken skewer

General Tip: Order alot. Portions very small, one skewer is only 3 pieces of meat. One adult could easily eat 4-5 skewers. Need to order many items good to get a variety, but pricey.

What: Snack; I ordered 2 of the Banyan Beef Skewers

    Price_of_Entrees: $3.79 each

The hot and spicy was indeed hot and spicy, might be a bit too much for smaller children. It’s a communal stand-up eating area if you can’t secure a table (and I don’t recall seeing a smaller 2-person table). The nature of the food asks to be fed to each other though.

Be Sure To Try: The Banyan Beef Skewer is awesome if you like spicy food, there was NO fat and very little grease. My mom swears by the Safari Skewer (Bacon Wrapped Asparagus), if you like asparagus that is

General Tip: I drifted by at about 5:30pm and the line was quite long, so I went on a couple rides and came back at around 7:00 and I walked right up and ordered. This can vary, as I’ve been to Disneyland many times and this is my favorite place to grab a snack, and it basically depends on how hungry people are as they walk past and smell the wonderful aromas.

MouseForLess Tip: 15% Premium annual Passport

Extra Comments: Always incredible quality of food and service here, one of the gems of Disneyland

What: Lunch. We eat there every time we are at Disney. Ask for Banyan Spicy Skewers. They are awesome. No doubt to try for it.

Great in warm days. Okay in hot ones. Worth it in winter anyway. Mostly family atmosphere but great for any ocassion.

Be Sure To Try: Banyan hot and spicy, outback and asparragus with bacon. The best food in the whole park.

General Tip: Be sure to have someone chasing a table while you wait in line to buy items.

TheMouseForLess Tip: Skeewers are little pieces for good eaters so be sure to order enough for your stomach. Tiger tail bread order comes two which is enough for average people.

Extra Comments: If you want to try for a snack or dinner with great spicy grilling flavor you should try for bengal barbecue.

What: Snack. Chicken skewers; Breadstick; Soda

Approximate Price of Entrees: Chicken skewers $3-$4 each; Bread stick $2; Soda $3

ran out of chicken and had to wait for them to make more

Be Sure to Try: Chicken Skewers, they have a sweet sauce on them.

General tips: This is an outside stand across from Indiana Jones with a few tables to sit at. Line can get long, but worth it.

TheMouseForLess tips: Kids were hungry so they each had a chicken skewer and I had the breadstick.

Extra Comments: Good healthy snack. They also have beef or veggie skewers.
