We had a wonderful stay at the Beach Club Villas.

The location is great. Guests can walk or take boat transportation to Epcot, Disney Hollywood Studios and the Boardwalk area. Guests who stay at Beach Club Villas also have access to all the facilities at Disney’s Beach Club and Yacht Club resorts.

The setting is beautiful and very relaxed. Disney did a great job of making the whole resort feel like a very comfortable beach house. The villas are decorated with light and airy colors. Guest staying at the Beach Club Villas have a choice of studio, one-bedroom, and two bedroom villas. Studios have a kitchenette area with small refrigerator, sink, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. One and two-bedroom villas have full kitchens.

The pool area is one of the best on Disney property. Strom-Along Bay has some great features with a sand bottom, a great slide, whirlpools, a small lazy river section, waterfalls and more. We spent an entire day enjoying all the features of the pool area, and it was one of our favorite vacation days. There are also 3 other quiet pools available at the resorts.

The resort also has many other recreational opportunities. There are movies shown on the beach, children’s activities at the pool, and so much more. The beach also offers great views of the Boardwalk area – especially at night. It is a great place to sit and relax as you watch the lights and hear the sounds of the Boardwalk.

Dining options are good. Cape May Café, has a great character breakfast buffet and a clam bake buffet for dinner. We celebrated a birthday at the breakfast and had a lot of character interaction and a card signed by the characters too. Yachtsman Steakhouse has some of the best steaks and service available at Disney. In addition, the famous Beaches and Cream is also located at the Beach Club Resort. The ice cream, burgers and other specialties should not be missed. Our favorite it the No Way Jose which is a peanut butter and chocolate lovers dream dessert.

Our stay at Disney’s Beach Club Villas was magical. The resort has great amenities, a great location, and plenty to do.

    Date of Stay: December 1st – 9th 2009

Rate Paid During Your Stay: Disney Magic Your Way Package – includes 8 nights, 9 Day Park Hopper Tickets and Free Dining – for $3842.50

Room sleeps : 2 bedroom villa, can sleep 8 – (King sized bed in master, pull-out sleeper sofa in living room, queen sized bed in the second bedroom and a pull-out couch in the second bedroom.)

Transportation: The walk to Epcot is so short, the boat ride to the Studios was great, and the buses to the other 2 parks were not long, but would have been nice to have buses more often.

Don’t miss: The walk to Epcot!

Room Location Suggestion: We stayed at Villa 423 and loved it. We had a view of the courtyard. However, the noise from IllumiNations was very loud. My parents were in 407 and said they heard the fireworks but it wasn’t that loud.

The Mouse For less Tip: The make-your-own yogurt, fruit and granola parfaits can be had for a snack credit. This would make a nice light breakfast.

Comments: We happened to be there during the rainy season. Because of this, we found the counter service selections to be not sufficient. Hurricane Hanna’s is a poolside spot, and the Beach Club Marketplace has limited seating and is basically a deli. I’m sure that in nice weather, eating outside is very nice.

Date of Stay: October 3-9 2007

Rate Paid During Your Stay: $DVC Points

Room sleeps : 4 plus a small child under 3, that’s what the brochure says.

Theming: casual and beachy, Very nice.

Room Size: Large king size bedroom, as big as any standard hotel room, plus very large living room with pullout sofa, plus kitchen and foyer.

Amenities: Best pool on property, stormalong bay, plus DVC only quiet pool.

Transportation: I hate the bus to MK and DTD, but walk into Epcot and Studios.

Recreation: so much to do, towel origami in the morning in lobby, movies on the beach at night with smores.

Value: free laundry in room, full size kitchen to make your own breakfast and keep leftovers, but buying into DVC is expensive.? If you are not a member, rent points from a member, less expensive than cash reservations.

    Don’t miss: The pool.

Room Location Suggestion: We had a nice courtyard view from our balcony. nice quiet location.? Villas are not near stormalong bay so you don’t get the noise, but it is easy to walk to it.

The Mouse For less Tip: Rent points…. if you have a family these suites are worth it.

Comments: The laundry came into high play with us this trip since ciara left her suitcase at home and had only 1 extra change of clothes..? We love the extra room in the villas.
