I agree with this review! I had my kids and husband with me. The huge drawback was the NO BREAKFAST!!! We were on a tight budget and it was a lot more expensive to have to buy breakfast every morning. The “Marketplace” inside the hotel was OK but very expensive!! The kids loved the pool and had a great time. But parking was very limited!!!! The room was pretty small, but we were not there a lot because we were at the park. Even though it is across the street it is still a very long walk for toddlers. Especially after a long day at Disneyland! Just a thought. Sometimes it is better to stay further away and take the shuttle to the front door. :)

I stayed at this hotel with my daughter in June 2010. I think the description above is for another hotel, because the Fairfield does not offer continental breakfast. (Not a deal breaker for us, but just be aware)
-The room was quite small, one king bed with a pull-out sofa. My daughter and I shared the bed, but if you have a larger family you will be very cramped here. It wasn’t very “Disney”, either, although there were a few touches here and there. Everything seemed older but clean, and there was a little fridge in the room to keep snacks and beverages.
-There is no continental breakfast, but there is a “marketplace” area that sells muffins and cereal and hot breakfast sandwiches. They also sell Pizza Hut pizza and plenty of other quick meal options. Millie’s Restaurant (family style) is right in the parking lot, and McDonald’s is next door.
-The pool is also located in the parking lot, and was nothing to write home about, but my 8 year old enjoyed herself and I sat under a patio umbrella. We were visiting “off-peak”, so the tiny pool wasn’t a problem, but I can’t imagine how it would work during a busier time. It was fine for older kids, but it was 3ft deep at the shallowest end, so it wouldn’t be very toddler friendly.
-The WiFi was hit-or-miss, which wasn’t a big deal for us as we were on vacation, but if you were staying here for business, it might be something to keep in mind.
-The best part is how close it is to Disneyland. That was our whole reason for staying there, and it worked out perfectly. It’s only about a half a block to the crossing light! Bare in mind that you still have to walk past the shuttle area, so “across the street” can be a little misleading, as you still have to walk the equivalent of a couple city blocks to get to the main gate. Still, the Fairfield is one of the closest hotels, you really can’t get much closer, but it’s something to think about if walking is difficult for you, or if you plan to rent a stroller instead of bringing your own.
-The staff was very friendly and helpful, although I really didn’t have any problems during my stay to test them! As for transportation, we took a SuperShuttle from the airport, but from what I could see parking spaces were very few and pretty small. Definitely not the place to park a large van or longer pick-up!

Overall, I would recommend the Fairfield to couples or small families who are just looking for a place to sleep in between days at Disneyland.
