Reviews of Disney's All-Star Music Resort

Disney’s All-Star Music Resort musically themed resort doesn’t “miss a beat”. Families will enjoy the whimsy of this resort, along with modest rates based on season. Boldly greeting guests at this resort are giant banjos, guitars, trombones, conga drums and maracas. The 1,920-room hotel features three-story buildings with themes like Broadway, calypso, jazz, country and rock ‘n’ roll. Disney’s All-Star Music Resort is located near Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Blizzard Beach water park.

The Broadway buildings are my favorite here. They tend to be pretty quiet, are near the front, but are out of the way, so you don’t have a ton of foot traffic noise.

All-Star Music is my favorite Disney value resort. My family and I have stayed in all of the value resorts except All-Star Movies, and Music is the best! We love the relaxed atmosphere. Some of the other value resorts seem more hurried or frenetic.

The food court has great options for everyone! We enjoyed their offerings more than Sport or Pop.

Eat out by the guitar pool which is close to the food court, but don’t miss the quieter piano pool. It was our favorite because it was never crowded.

We did not stay in a preferred room. We were in the Jazz Inn and found it convenient to both pools. The walk may seem far to younger children, but we always use a stroller.

We are going back in October (without a stroller) and are excited to try out the family suite.

Rate Paid During Your Stay: Room rate was $99 per night.

Room Sleeps: 4 people. There are 5 of us so we had 2, connecting, rooms.

Don’t Miss: The theme of this resort is nice. The large instruments, the pool, the decor in the rooms, it is definitely Disney.

Room Location Suggestion: We were in the Rock section and it is on the back of the property, I mean the very back. Our view from our room was the maintenance shed.

The Mouse For Less Tip: We did not have a preferred room and had I known just how far from the food court, bus stops, lobby, our room was going to be I would have paid the extra. We had to drive to the food court it was so far. Pay the difference and get a room closer to everything.

Comments: I was not happy with this resort. Our room was quiet but it was just not very magical seeing the maintenance shed and the work trucks coming and going. I have never stayed at this resort before so I had no idea.

Rate Paid During Your Stay: $82 per night, special rate sent to me by mail.

    Room Sleeps: 4

    Don’t Miss: Nothing really.

Room Location Suggestion: We were in Broadway which was a bit far for the main building but we had close parking spaces for our car.

The Mouse For Less Tip: Just staying here is less expensive than anywhere else on site. Breakfast in your room cuts back on some expense.

Comments: All the Value resorts are great for the money if space is not a big issue for you.
