When you get in trouble and you don’t know right from wrong
Give a little whistle! Give a little whistle! – Jiminy Cricket

Q. My family and I are headed to WDW this October. We are arriving on Saturday Oct. 29th and staying for 8 nights with a split stay at the Beach Club and the Boardwalk. Our group includes me, my husband, my mom, and our two year old daughter.

We’ve decided not to do Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year because of the extra cost, my daughter’s age, and the crowd levels on Halloween weekend.

Since we will be there on Halloween night itself, do you have any suggestions other than the party? Are there any other parks. attractions, or hotels that might fit the Halloween theme? I know nothing will compare to the party at MK, but any ideas would help! (Submitted by Alyssa G.)

A hard ticket means that guests who would like to attend will need to purchase another ticket in addition to their regular park ticket in order to do so.

Recently it’s become more and more evident that Fall is one of my favorite times of year to visit Walt Disney World.  Not only do you have lighter crowds, but you have great events like the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival and perhaps the event that I love the most, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

Of course, this particular event is popular with parents who have children, but let me tell you it is most certainly a blast for those of us adults without children who want to get in the Halloween spirit as well.  This particular party is one that, time after time, I keep going back to with my total being 4 and counting as I’m going back again in just a couple of weeks!

So what is it that makes this event so exciting? Continue reading »
