When you get in trouble and you don’t know right from wrong
Give a little whistle! Give a little whistle! – Jiminy Cricket

Q. Hello. We are hoping to book a Keys to the Kingdom tour this week (we hit our 180 day mark on Thursday) and are wondering what you would recommend as the best way to get to the Magic Kingdom with plenty of time for the tour. We will be staying at Caribbean Beach and anticipate booking the 9 am tour on a normal morning opening at the Magic Kingdom. We have been told the buses start running an hour before park opening but we want plenty of time for getting there and through security to the special tour entrance. Any information/advice you have will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help. (Submitted by Kelli R.)

A. Hello Kelli!

How exciting that you will be taking the Keys to the Kingdom tour! (That’s still one on my bucket list!)

You are correct that Disney buses start running one hour prior to park opening. If you get on the first bus, that should give you plenty of time to get to the Magic Kingdom in plenty of time and get through security and to the correct tour entrance location with plenty of time.

However, if you are extremely anxious about this, I would suggest either taking a cab. (There should be plenty available out front of your hotel, however if they are not, as bell services and they should be able to take care of you.) If you don’t want to take a cab, you could always consider taking Uber.

I hope that this helps!
