When you get in trouble and you don’t know right from wrong
Give a little whistle! Give a little whistle! – Jiminy Cricket

Q. We arrive on September 5th and will not have park tickets that day.  We want to watch Wishes from outside the park and have heard that the Transportation and Ticket Center is one of the best places to do this.  Is this true?  If we do end up watching from there, what is the best way to get back to our resort?  (Submitted by Chris O.)

A. Hi Chris!

I understand not wanting to use up park tickets on a day when you are just arriving to the resort. I also have good news for you. You can indeed view Wishes from the Transportation and Ticket Center. In order to view the fireworks, you’ll need to stand near the boat launch and the view is pretty decent. To get back to your resort from the Transportation and Ticket Center, you will then need to head over to the Magic Kingdom and hop on a bus to your resort.

I hope you have a magical vacation!

  1. Exactly the advice I give people who want fireworks without park admission! We have watched the fireworks from near the ferry dock at TTC and not only do you get a nice view, they pipe in the music. This is a pretty easy way to get to see them without huge crowds or a ticket. You just take a short ferry or monorail ride over to the buses and head back to the resort for the night.

  2. As long as you’re going that far, I think the view of the fireworks is better from the beach of the Poly. When it’s over, either take the Poly bus to DownTown and switch buses to your resort or take the monorail to the MK and find your resort bus there – but that’s going to be crowded after the fireworks.

Another great viewing location is the roof of the Contemporary. It’s been years since I’ve been up there so I don’t know what the rules are any more… Have a Magical time either way.

  3. We were doing a resort hop our last trip. At Ft. Wilderness, the front desk clerk invited us to go out to their beach and relax while watching Wishes. We didn’t because we needed to go meet up for dinner reservations. That might be a good way to go as well. I think you can catch a boat from T&T there.
