Q. Is there anywhere in Disney World where Vinylmation trading is done? (Submitted by Meg R)

A. Hi Meg!

You do ask a good question!  Because while guests can pin trade lots of places (I mean every Cast Member wears special pins just for trading!) there is less information about the Vinylmation stuff.  Back in the day, Disney had planned to have Vinylmation be the next craze!  They had hoped that people would want to trade their little statues like they would the pins.  However, I don’t think it quite worked out they way they had hoped.

There is some good news for you though.  While there aren’t a ton of places where you can trade Vinylmations, there is at least one place in each park.  There are:

At Walt Disney World:
– Emporium at Magic Kingdom
– MouseGear and Disney Traders at Epcot
– Villains in Vogue at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
– Island Mercantile at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
– D Street and Disney’s Pin Traders at Downtown Disney

At Disneyland Resort (for anyone who’s curious):
– The Star Trader and Disneyana at Disneyland Park
– Off the Page at Disney California Adventure
– D Street at Downtown Disney

So, while Vinylmation trading isn’t what it once was, rejoice in the fact that you are still able to take part in this practice, if you still want!

Have a great vacation and happy trading!

  1. Hello,

I was at WDW about 2 weeks ago and tried to trade my Vinylmation at Villains in Vogue and was told they do not do that anymore. I don’t know if it was just because of Star Wars Weekends or what, but I didn’t see any in the area of the counter where they used to do it. Maybe I just tried it on an off day? Good luck!
