When you get in trouble and you don’t know right from wrong
Give a little whistle! Give a little whistle! – Jiminy Cricket

Q.  We’re taking 9 people in June .  My wife and I have annual passes, but the others in our party will not have tickets pre-purchased until we arrive.  With the new FastPass+ system will we be able to make reservations for all of us?  How will this work?  (Submitted by Adam R.)

Hi Adam!

What an exciting trip it sounds like you have in the works!

With MyMagic+, in order to be able to make FastPass+ reservations, you have the have the ticket media entered into your MyDisneyExperience account; either by using the website found on www.disneyworld.com or by downloading the app.  What this means is that you and your wife can make FastPass+ reservations but your family cannot make them until they have the tickets.  This means that you will likely have to wait until the arrival day to make your FastPass+ reservations.

While things may change, the good news is that many FastPass+ reservations seem to be available, even on the day of your vacation. (Many people have been able to easily switch up reservations while they are touring in the parks).

I hope that you have a magical vacation!

  1. Disney has to come up with a way around this. My family will have the same problem in September. The four members of our household are annual pass holders but we are bringing my mom who is not, I can’t imagine leaving my mom out of going on rides because she can’t get a fast pass. We just returned from a Disney trip where we didn’t participate in fast pass+ and we were not able to get on many rides and it was very disappointing. Does anyone have any advise?
