Q.  With Photopass+ if you order in online where do you pick it up when you get to the parks? I don’t like to order things online so really debating where to get it. (Submitted by Susan M.)

A.  Hello Susan!

Photopass+:  What a great way to keep those vacation memories!

For those who don’t know what Photopass+ is, it the ability to get digital copies of all your PhotoPass photos, plus Attraction photos, as well as Dining photos that are taken within a 14 day time span, as well as print copies at select dining locations all at one price.  (Please keep in mind that there are multiple different Photopass options that are available from Disney.  They are Photopass, Photopass+, and Attractions+.)  The 14 day window begins either on the day of your purchase if you purchase it at the Resort on the day you exchange your voucher for your PhotoPass+ card and lanyard at the Resort if you pre-purchase the package.  The cost of the Walt Disney World PhotoPass + is $199.95 if purchased in the parks and $149 if purchased ahead of time.

How it works is that when you are in the parks and you see a Photopass Photographer, (they are pretty easy to spot), make sure to get your photos taken.  It’s a great tool to get your whole family in the pics.  Even if you haven’t yet purchased Photopass+, you can still stop by the photographer and they will gladly take your photograph.  Once that is done, they will scan your card (if you have pre-purchased it, you will need to bring your voucher that is sent to you and exchange it to redeem your Photopass+ Card) and your photos will be pooled to a database created especially for your family.

The good news is that you don’t pick up the CD at the parks.  Once you get home, you’ll take the Photopass+ card, which will have a 16 digit code on the back, and type that in to disneyphotopass.com.  From there, you will be able to edit your photos in any way you see fit; crop them, turn them into black and white, add Disney characters or borders to them.  You can do this multiple times for the same image even!  Once you are finished creating your masterpieces, you will then order the CD from Disney following their instructions.  They will then mail the CD to your house!  Volia!  It’s that easy!
