When you get in trouble and you don’t know right from wrong
Give a little whistle! Give a little whistle! – Jiminy Cricket
Q. Hi! We’re planning on going to WDW in early November and possibly attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. How much are the tickets this year? What are some can’t-miss things to see and do around this time? (Submitted by Bernadette N.)
You most definitely should consider going to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! It is such a fun event and is something that should be done at least once. Must-sees during the party include the beautiful Castle Dream Lights, Holiday Wishes – Celebrate the Spirit of the Season which contains classic Christmas music as the soundtrack, and the enchanting Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. It’s also a blast getting to partake in the free hot cocoa, apple slices, cookies, and apple juice.
Tickets for this event are currently on sale. The dates for this year’s event are November 9, 12, 15, 16, 25, 27, 29, 30 and December 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21.
The parties are from 7:00 pm to 12:00 am with Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade taking place at 8:15 pm and 10:30 pm and the Holiday Wishes fireworks show beginning at 9:30 pm.
If you would like to purchase tickets for November 9 – December 20 it’s better to do it in advance. The Advance Purchase Discount is $62.79 for Adults and $57.46 for ages 3-9. If you decide to purchase them on the day of the event it will cost $69.18 for Adults and $63.85 for ages 3-9. If you have an Annual Pass or are a DVC Member, tickets will run $58.53 for Adults and $53.20 for ages 3-9. If you’re a member of the Armed Services it will be $43.95 for adults and $40.23 for ages 3-9. If you would like to purchase tickets for the December 21st event, there is only one option of $72.37 for adults and $67.05 for ages 3-9. Do keep in mind that this date tends to sell out extremely fast.
Keep in mind, there are a few dates that are blocked out on the Advance Purchase Discount. Those dates are Nov 16, 30, Dec 7, 14, and 20. If you would like to go to the party on one of those dates, you will pay the full event price.
These special parties are one of my favorite things to do whenever I’m in Disney during the Fall and Winter. I hope you do enjoy your time experiencing the festivities! Be sure to send us some photos!
